Ensemble Otium Moment is an international Early Music ensemble established by musicians from the

Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK). Representing diverse cultural roots from South Korea, Japan, Turkey, and Chile,  our members blend their unique artistic perspectives into a single, unified voice.

The name "Otium" signifies a state of creative leisure—a peaceful yet profound immersion in music that offers a retreat from daily life. We believe in the beauty of shared creativity, where the diverse musical insights of each member come together to shape our ensemble's distinctive sound.

Otium Moment strives to go beyond mere historical reconstruction. By exploring the delicate textures and vibrant energy of period instruments, we bring the dramatic narratives of  17th and 18th-century music to life for today’s audience.
