Haeun Cho

Haeun Cho, born in 1995 in South Korea, moved to Germany in 2016. She began her studies at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) under Mitzi Meyerson in 2017, before continuing her education in the harpsichord class of Prof. Eva Maria Pollerus

at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) in 2018.

 

In July 2023, she performed at the prestigious Rheingau Musik Festival. Since 2023,

she has been a founding member of the ensemble Otium Moment.

 

At the 2025 International Telemann Competition, she achieved significant recognition with the Lotus Ensemble,

winning the Audience Prize, the Bärenreiter Urtext Prize, and the Special Prize for Kleine Kammermusik.

She was also awarded Third Prize at the 28th Chamber Music Competition of the Polytechnische Gesellschaft.

 

In 2025, she founded Duo Flavier in South Korea. She maintains an active performing career as a soloist and chamber musician, appearing on international stages across Korea, Germany, and beyond.
